Case Study (Yield Test Pumping)
After decades of working in the groundwater industry, the team at Yield Test Pumping (YTP) identified a need in the market for a more professional and comprehensive test pumping service. Having industry and regulatory experience YTP’s objective was to utilise years of combined experience and create a company that would exceed all expectations in the test pumping field.
Yield Test Pumping approached Safety Solutions WA at year of YTP’s start up in 2015 in order to assist their team in developing a safety management system and tender assistance that would provide them coverage as required by their first large mining client.
Over the following few years, YTP has grown and expanded to provide their services to most large miners in Western Australia and other Government and private bodies.
Due to YTP’s growth and client expectations, Safety Solutions WA were engaged to further develop YTP’s safety management system in readiness for potential AS/NZS: 4801 certification, along with contractor assessing tools such as CM3 and BROWZ.
Within a relatively short time Safety Solutions WA, along with a committed team of YTP’s personnel, achieved certification to the Australia Standard. This has been successfully transitioned across to ISO: 45001, upon the superseding of the Australian Standard.
Safety Solutions WA continue to work with YTP in continually improving their safety management system to reduce risk, maintain their 0 incident rate and provide their clients with effective and contemporary safety management practices, that allows YTP to stand out from all their competitors and continue to grow their business.
Safety Solutions Western Australia (SSWA) have been our health and safety consultants for the last six years. Within that time, they’ve consistently updated our safety management system to comply with the latest legislation, Australian Standards or onsite requirements. They implement and educate on all HSE changes, as well as assist in generating new business through tender preparation.
SSWA has enabled YTP to gain and maintain certification to ISO 45001. Without SSWA this would not have been possible.
