Bringing over 10 years of experience across petrochemical and oil and gas, infrastructure and defence, commercial construction, and traditional owners corporation governance, Kelly specialises in operational risk, governance and supporting complex, high-risk environments. Her ability to translate safety obligations into workable solutions that genuinely improve culture and lift performance has made her a trusted partner across some of Australia’s most demanding industries.

With a sharp focus on organisational assurance, incident investigation and business process improvement, Kelly thrives in complex, high-stakes environments — and brings a depth of strategic thinking that helps organisations move beyond compliance to achieve lasting, meaningful change.

Outside of work, Kelly reads voraciously and will happily lose an entire weekend to a good book. Fantasy is a long-standing favourite – particularly Robin Hobb – although her reading taste is broad and generally improves in direct proportion to how complicated the characters are.

She shares life with her two teenage sons and Nash, an extremely fluffy black-and-white dog, and has a near-unlimited capacity for becoming fascinated by something completely random and researching it far beyond what was reasonably necessary. Add books, good conversation and a Red Bull and she is generally pretty content.

Alex brings more than 15 years of business development and client relationship experience across the UK and Australia, working with businesses across industries including construction, care, manufacturing, trades and everything in between.

Throughout his career, he has focused on understanding the challenges businesses face and connecting them with solutions that deliver real outcomes.

At SSWA, Alex takes a commercial and client focused approach, looking beyond simply identifying WHS issues to understanding how solutions can make a business’s life easier, save time and money and provide peace of mind that their safety is being looked after.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending as much time as possible with his partner and 3 kids, a Fremantle dockers supporter and enjoys playing AFL, fishing, cooking and camping.

His approach to both work and life is summed up by one of his favourite quotes from Marco Pierre White: “Keep it simple. Perfection is lots of little things done well.”

Tash brings over 20 years of operational and people management experience to her role as Operations Manager at Safety Solutions WA. Having spent her career with Australia Post coordinating large teams, managing competing priorities, and driving organisational change, she knows what it takes to keep complex operations running smoothly.

Tash is a natural people person; organised, adaptable, and known for her ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people at all levels.

Outside of work she loves travel, spending time with family & friends, especially her husband & 2 small children, long lunches with her girlfriends, music, going to festivals/concerts, summer days at the beach/sunsets drinks, and photography.

Graeme is an experienced and passionate safety professional with expertise in risk assessment and management, WHS inspections/audits, and incident investigations.

Prior to establishing Safety Solutions WA in 2010, Graeme was a WorkSafe WA Inspector and a Detective in the WA Police Force, as well as working in safety roles in the private sector.

His experience in WHS covers multiple industries, as Safety Solutions WA’s clients cover everything from small family-owned businesses, to large corporations and Government Departments.

Graeme takes the leadership role and shares his knowledge and experiences with his team to provide the best working experience for them as he possibly can, in order for them to help make our clients’ workplaces safer.

In his spare time, Graeme’s a boatie (from which he fishes/dives / surfs), loves travelling and cooking and has two kids that he says are growing up way too quickly!

When growing up, he wanted to be a Marine Biologist and spend his life travelling the world diving.

With over 15 years in work health and safety, Jo is an empathetic, hard-working consultant who is passionate about building relationships and becoming a genuine part of the team. Focused on delivering strong, practical and manageable outcomes, she works across education, care, government agencies, logistics, construction and community-based services- with a particular enjoyment for organisations that work directly with people in the community and provide care, support and essential services.

Jo’s hands-on expertise spans WHS advisory and onsite support, risk assessments, gap analysis, audits and inspections, contractor management, and the development of client-specific documentation. She also particularly enjoys supporting clients with tender requirements, helping them understand what is being asked of them and strengthening their WHS documentation and systems to support successful submissions.

Her ability to adapt and communicate confidently with people at all levels means clients get a consultant who genuinely understands their world and can provide practical support that works.

Kristie is a practical and detail-oriented WHS Consultant with experience in workplace investigations, compliance administration, and risk management within the transport and logistics sector. She is ICAM trained and skilled at analysing incidents, identifying root causes, and preparing thorough, audit-ready reports and documentation.

Kristie brings a unique perspective to safety, underpinned by a Bachelor of Criminology with a major in Crime Science and Criminal Behaviour — a background that lends itself naturally to the investigative and analytical demands of modern workplace safety.

Outside of work, Kristie enjoys staying active through Pilates, which helps her maintain balance, focus, and wellbeing. She also loves unwinding with a good book, enjoying the opportunity to learn, relax and escape into different stories and perspectives.

Lucy has a comprehensive background spanning different areas of consulting, the disability sector, the construction industry, retail and occupational hygiene works, including extensive experience in mould, fire, and sewerage remediation and testing, as well as disaster restoration.

Having worked in Queensland, South Australia, and Perth, she has developed a nuanced understanding of regional safety regulations and best practices, enabling her to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of each environment.

Lucy thrives on collaboration and finds joy in working alongside diverse teams across different industries. Her passion lies in fostering a safety culture change within organisations, and she takes pride in bringing teams together to understand and drive this essential transformation.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Lucy enjoys exploring the great outdoors. Whether it’s taking the caravan out for a weekend getaway, embarking on a challenging hike, or firing up the BBQ. She is also an avid photographer, capturing moments both on land and from the sky with her drone.

Lucy is a dedicated sports enthusiast; she particularly enjoys watching AFL and cricket but will watch any sport she can. She is a proud GWS supporter and the Crows in AFLW.

With a career built on a deep passion for education and workplace safety, Chiara specialises in creating practical, people-focused WHS solutions that empower both organisations and their teams. Her approach goes beyond compliance — she believes safety is most effective when workers are engaged, informed, and confident in their ability to identify and manage risks.

Drawing on years of experience in training, facilitation, and risk assessment, Chiara works closely with employees at every level to understand their day-to-day challenges and perspectives. This insight allows her to design tailored safety strategies that not only meet legislative requirements but also resonate with the realities of the workplace.

By combining clear communication, hands-on education, and a genuine respect for workers’ knowledge, Chiara help build cultures where safety awareness is second nature and risk management is a shared responsibility. Her mission is simple: to make every workplace safer, smarter, and more connected through understanding and collaboration.

Passionate about life’s harmonies, Chiara balances her time between the joy of singing in a community choir and the thrill of a day at the races. Whether blending voices in perfect unison or soaking up the vibrant atmosphere trackside, Chiara find inspiration in moments that bring people together. Music fuels her creativity, while the races satisfy her love for excitement, tradition, and a touch of glamour.

Isabella is a WHS Administrator with a practical background across field operations, remote work, marine environments and workplace safety.

At Safety Solutions WA, Isabella supports the team across a variety of WHS projects and client work. She enjoys the variety of the role and getting an understanding of how different workplaces operate, particularly where she can combine practical field experience with strong organisation and attention to detail.

Outside of work, Isabella is happiest in or around the ocean. She has a strong marine background and loves scuba diving, snorkelling, travelling and exploring new places, especially anywhere with good water and marine life.

Anthony is a risk, governance and operations leader with more than 20 years’ experience across construction, engineering, equipment hire and education — including complex, high-risk, multi-site businesses. He is the person executives and boards turn to for a straight read on risk: the known issues, the emerging ones, and what the organisation is actually doing about them.

Much of Anthony’s career has centred on building enterprise risk and assurance frameworks, and turning business continuity, crisis and disaster recovery plans into something tested and trusted rather than a document on a shelf.

As SHEQ Director at a large UK organisation, he sat at the leadership table across a 20+ depot, ~550-person business, reporting regularly to the executive and board on key risks and controls, while also directing capital and maintenance projects spanning modular buildings, construction and renewables — managing scope, budget, timelines and multi-disciplinary teams.

He led the organisation’s integrated management system to ISO 45001, 9001, 14001 and 50001 certification, secured FORS Silver accreditation for the national fleet, and served as Carbon Reporting & ESG lead, driving sustainability reporting and net-zero commitments.

Anthony has been an active contributor to industry governance and technical committees, sitting on the Sustainability, Safety and Technical Committees.

Anthony is passionate about building confident safety leaders at every level of an organisation — and puts that into practice both with clients and through his broader contributions to the industry and fellow consultants within SSWA, including authoring thought-leadership content on safety culture for Hire Association Europe in 2025.

Outside of work Anthony loves spending his free time with his family, being a dad taxi for his 3 children and attends all of their sporting activities. Anthony loves to read self development books and is continually self developing through training and courses. Having moved to WA and Australia last year Anthony and his family love to explore the state and get out and about as much as possible and try the local food and drink.

Lachlan is a hardworking, driven WHS Consultant who thrives in dynamic environments that inspire growth and learning. With experience spanning mining, oil and gas, renewables, and education — across both FIFO and remote settings — he brings a strong understanding of the interplay between systems and behaviour and is equally comfortable working on technical or people-related issues.

Lachlan is particularly passionate about incident investigation, having led complex cases under tight deadlines and in the strictest confidence. He is a certified lead investigator and trainer across multiple methodologies, with a genuine commitment to helping organisations drive effective risk management and keep their people safe and healthy.

Outside of work, Lachlan is an avid car enthusiast with a particular interest in performance and Japanese cars. He enjoys keeping active, spending time with family and friends, gaming, and exploring new places. Naturally curious and always keen to learn something new, Lachlan also has a strong interest in technology, psychology and understanding what makes people tick. When he gets the chance, he enjoys travelling and making the most of his time away from work.

Stephen is a safety professional with experience across civil infrastructure, oil and gas, construction, mining, mineral processing and transport. Having worked in both frontline and corporate environments, he brings a practical understanding of how work is actually performed — and how safety systems need to work in practice, not just on paper.

With a master’s degree in Work Health and Safety and special interests in human factors, process safety and safety assurance, his experience includes management system development, ISO certifications, risk management, incident investigation, contractor management, digital safety systems, permit-to-work, HAZID workshops and major construction and commissioning projects.

Stephen helps organisations turn complex safety and risk challenges into simple, workable solutions. His approach is practical and relationship-driven, connecting strategic objectives with the realities of the people doing the work. He believes good consulting starts with understanding the organisation, its people and the work before attempting to prescribe a solution. Rather than simply identifying what is wrong, he works with clients to understand why things are the way they are, and what can realistically be improved.

Outside of work, Stephen has his hands full with two teenage boys. He also enjoys scuba diving, travelling, and getting lost in a good sci-fi/fantasy world.
