Winery safety is an important service that the Safety Solutions team provides throughout Western Australia. Ensuring skilled workplace health & safety (WHS) consulting services are available to all wineries in WA means that employers have the ability to effectively implement and maintain safety systems and procedures. This helps employers save thousands of dollars in unnecessary fines and keeps employees safe.
Our team of professionals are committed to assisting businesses in making workplaces safer. We understand the winery industry and its hazards which can include, but not limited to:
Some simple controls can be implemented to assist with mitigation of the hazards listed above and make workplaces safer. This helps to reduce your liability as a business owner and ensure that staff members go home safe to their families every day.
Failure to comply with safety standards could cost you thousands of dollars, your business, or even jail time if a death occurs on-site.
Don’t wait for an incident to occur, contact the team at Safety Solutions WA to discuss how we can work with you to make your winery safer.
SSWA’s occupational health and safety systems are specially designed to conform with ISO: 45001 (ex-AS/NZS: 4801) Risk Management Standards.
Our team of trained and qualified safety professionals can help you achieve all of your minimum health and safety requirements and expand upon these to deliver best practice models.
SSWA recognises the changing needs of businesses and projects and can provide short, medium or long term contract safety personnel within WA or interstate.
We provide audits and inspections that are tailored to suit your needs. From a basic legislative WHS compliance inspection through to a WorkSafe Plan Assessment or Australian / International Standard level audits.
We understand that a good health and safety tender document is key to winning contracts, and we take pride in helping our clients to prepare and review their tender documents.
In the unfortunate event that an incident and/or injury occurs at your workplace, we can provide you with incident investigation and corrective / preventative action assistance.
We understand that life and work get busy and safety doesn’t seem as high a priority as picking, production, and getting your wine to market. But don’t leave yourself open to litigation, risking your business and your employee’s lives. Having professionals on your side to mitigate the risks involved in running an estate can give you time to keep running your business and the security that you are covered and your team are safe.
Call our team of consultants to learn more about the risks employers face in the wine industry and contact us today to book an appointment to come see you.
